I just want to mention that our favorite preemie has reached new levels of extreme cuteness...just when you think there's no way she could get cuter! Post some new pics, guys.
Grandma II here ... traveling to Napa kept me away from this blog yesterday and I was beside myself with worry about our little over-acheiver. Something TOLD me there was some sort of blip on her progress chart... or at least a real change. Glad to know it is all just part of the somewhat bumpy but constantly upward trend of her "I-can't-wait-to-come-into-the-world-so-here-I-come-ready-or-not" journey. Yes, Atiya, Dara is a big guy! (Part of the charm of seeing him with his little one, don't you think?)By the way, I miss you!
Dara, I think the best part about this blog is not only getting to know you, Kim and Mikaila, but getting in touch with Charlene (mumani - aunty) again. Hiya Charlene Mumani. Congratulations on becoming a grandma. Wow... it's been simply ages, (30 years or so) since we last saw you. Believe it or not, but the whole family thinks of you often (despite certain people who blush and grumble) ahem.. TMI! So yes, we all think of you and remember you very fondly. As for Dara, Dude... you look so much like your dad (my favourite uncle by far). And what's a few pregnancy pounds anyway. Mikaila needs your body heat, hair and all. So enjoy. BTW.. I don't let the little blimps in Mikaila's day worry me at all. She's doing so well, mashallah, and premies are known for being big eaters and being big and strong people as they grow! So keep up the feeds, Mikaila. A little spit is no biggie! Love and hugs, Mariam
