Sorry there's confusion. It was really pretty simple before we discussed the possiblity of a tie! Then things got silly enough to confuse people!
Just go back to the entry entitled "Changing the Formula" where Bill's Comment (which is #2) states that we are to guess what Mikaila's weight will be on the date she was due. June 18th. All guesses were to be in by Sun. June 8th at midnight.
End of story. Nothing has changed. If there's a tie, in that two guesses are equally close... then we just extend the contest, for those two individuals only, until July 4th. They must submit their guesses by midnight on June 19th.
Phew! I think lawyer-speak was easier.
Mikaila will have a huge laugh someday over this....
Give me a case of beer and anyone can have my number! Let the bidding begin! (5 lbs 14.5 oz.) (Unless it wins and in that case Dara and I already have a deal.) My recommendation is have fun with this as most will probably lose reguardless of their choice.

Me thinks we should all get a chance to update our estimates, as we didn't know about the closing date, pre putting in our estimates!
What says you????
Actually you did know. Bill proposed the contest in a comment on June 4th with the closing date explicitly stated as 6/18, Mikaila's due date.
